Opinion: I Actually Went To The State Fair
Without a doubt, going to the State Fair was the best thing I did this weekend. I loved going to it! In the beginning, I was all, “So what’s the deal with the State Fair? I just wanna watch movies!” But then, everyone kept telling me to go, so I actually went, and now everyone can just leave me alone because I went to the State Fair already!
What’s that? You wanna hear about it? Well, um… okay, so right at the front of the fair, they take your tickets, and man, was I ready! The ticket person was all, “You shall not pass without your ticket.” Luckily, I had my real ticket in my hand, and they stamped it, or ripped it, or scanned it. I don’t really remember, but whatever they did to your ticket, they also did that to my ticket, because I went to the State Fair just like everyone else. Then I went in, and wow! There was so much stuff inside, I can’t even begin to describe it all.
Huh? You want me to try my best to describe it anyway? Alright, haha, uhhh… There was like, a lot of people. So many people, but nobody that you knew, so don’t ask any of your friends if they saw me there, even though I was definitely present. Most of the people were like, small… with really hairy feet, not that that’s important. Why would I even say that?
The first thing I did was buy some food. Yeah, fair food! Everyone knows what awesome food they have at the State Fair, so I don’t even need to say what I bought. Oh, well if you insist, it was… a… honey cake. Yeah, a Columbia State Fair honey cake, just like in Lord of the Rings, but it was at the State Fair. Yum!
Then I went to the rides. Ah, the rides! Rides like you wouldn’t believe! They were so exciting and rideable. I went on so many it’s almost hard to remember any of them in specific detail… try to describe one, you say? Ahah, okay… What about the Ferris wheel? I can see that from my window—I mean, I couldn’t not see that from where I was standing in the State Fair. Of course, I rode on the Ferris wheel. It was so round, and moved in a circular motion… you get it. Basically, the One Ring of the State Fair, if you think about it.
Well, at the end of the night I was exhausted! So much moving around and going to places, such as the State Fair and all the events within. By the time I got home, I barely had it in me to watch all the Lord of the Rings movies back-to-back. Just kidding! That would be so lame, and I’m cool, and cool people went to the State Fair this weekend.
